Employment Opportunity The Citrus County Schools Transportation Department needs Bus Operators.  This is an opportunity to earn income and still be home with your children when school is not in session.  We are looking for safe drivers who care about children.  We provide paid training and testing to receive a commercial driver’s license.  Background screening and pre-employment drug testing fees are paid for by the department.  There are opportunities to drive for the school your child/children attend, and then your school-aged children can ride the bus you are driving to school, in many cases eliminating the need for child care.   If you are interested, please contact the Transportation Business office at 352-726-1931, extension 2370 and/or complete a Substitute Bus Operator application on line at www.citrusschools.org
