Sharen Lowe

Serving as the Director of Human Resources for the Citrus County School District since January 2025, she brings 26 years of continuous service to the district. A proud alumna of Saint Leo University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, she later completed a Master of Science in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.

Her career began in the classroom teaching 3rd and 5th grade, which built a strong foundation for subsequent roles as a Curriculum Specialist and Teacher on Special Assignment for Curriculum. Moving into school administration, she served as an Assistant Principal at both Central Ridge Elementary and Citrus Springs Elementary before stepping into the role of Principal at Citrus Springs Elementary. Transitioning to district-level operations, she served as the Coordinator of Human Resources prior to assuming her current leadership post. Across nearly three decades in Citrus County, she remains deeply committed to supporting educators, cultivating leadership talent, and advancing student success.
