Nathan Gaskins

Nathan Gaskins serves as the Supervisor of Transportation for Citrus County Schools, a role he has held since 2024. A proud lifelong resident of Citrus County and graduate of Citrus High School, Nathan brings years of dedicated service and deep operational expertise to the district’s transportation system.

His career path reflects steady professional growth within the district. Starting in 2014 as a Line Mechanic fueling buses, he advanced to Vehicle Technician in 2015, floating across all three district garages while taking charge of bus video system repairs. Later that year, he earned the promotion to Shop Foreman at the Lecanto garage. In 2021, Nathan transitioned into leadership as the Assistant Fleet Manager (later retitled Transportation Specialist) in the business office, before taking on his current administrative role.

To support his team and ensure student safety, Nathan holds several key certifications, including Florida Department of Education Certified School Bus Safety Inspector/Trainer, Florida Association for Pupil Transportation Master Repair Technician, and Mobile Air Conditioning Society MACS 609 Clean Air Act certification.
