Jen Story
Jennifer Story serves as the Director of Assessment, Accountability, & Monitoring for the Citrus County School District. This is her 6th year in the department, with more than 20 years of experience in education, Jennifer has served in a variety of instructional and administrative roles.
Jennifer began her career teaching Language Arts and reading at the middle and high school level. She later served as a school assessment coordinator and Assistant Principal. A special highlight of her career was the opportunity to return to the same middle school she attended as a student, where she taught, served as the testing coordinator, and later became an Assistant Principal.
In her current role, Jennifer supports districtwide initiatives, helping schools use data to inform instruction and support student achievement. She enjoys attending school district and community events and staying connected with students, families, educators, and community members. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, making time to explore new places and create lasting memories.
