Jen Greco

Bringing over 22 years of public education experience, Jen Greco serves as the Senior Director of District Student Services and Educational Technology for Citrus County Schools. Her extensive career spans classroom instruction, school administration, and district leadership, with past roles including teacher, assistant principal, ESE Coordinator, Director of Student Services, and Deputy Superintendent.

Mrs. Greco holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Florida, earned her Florida Teacher Certification at Central Florida Community College, and holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida State University. Her state certifications cover Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, School Principal, and Exceptional Student Education, alongside a prior National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.

Advocating for special needs students is the heart of Mrs. Greco's work. Beginning her career as a paraprofessional before teaching middle and high school special needs students, she earned Rookie Teacher of the Year at Hillcrest School and was named Marion County Teacher of the Year. Today, that lifelong passion drives her efforts to partner with families, schools, and community organizations to support student mental health, safety, and educational technology resources across the district.
