Beyond the Bell: Episode 26 – Nature Coast Investment Practicum 
When classroom learning meets the real world, incredible things happen.  Students from Citrus High and Crystal River High took their financial knowledge beyond the classroom and into the heart of the industry with a visit to Raymond James Financial headquarters in St. Petersburg.  The students who participated are enrolled in Accounting 1 or Accounting 2 at Citrus High School, taught by Mr. Russell Wilson, and the entrepreneurship class at Crystal River High School, taught by Ms. Carol Dumas. Through the Nature Coast Investment Practicum, an opportunity which exists through a partnership with the Citrus County Education Foundation, these students aren’t just learning about investing—they’re doing it. 💼📈 From managing a real portfolio to engaging with industry professionals, this experience is preparing them for futures in finance and beyond.
