Ginny Cox

As Director of Finance, Ms. Cox brings over 20 years of public sector service spanning government, nonprofit, and school finance. A licensed Certified Public Accountant, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. Her extensive background in educational and public administration includes serving most recently as Accounting Manager with Highlands County Schools.

Deeply dedicated to community leadership, Ms. Cox is a member of the Leadership Citrus Class of 2026 and serves as a Board Member for Citrus County Blessings. Since relocating to Citrus County in 2025 she has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, CASA, the YMCA, the Citrus County Education Foundation, and Friends of the Withlacoochee Trail.

Outside of her professional and civic commitments, Ms. Cox is an avid runner with an ambitious personal goal: to complete a half marathon in every state across the country. She has successfully crossed 14 states off her list so far.
