Cassie Mellington

Cassie Mellington currently serves as the Supervisor of Student Services and District Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a dual role she stepped into in February 2024. Bringing two decades of educational experience to the position, she provides critical oversight and behavioral support across the district. Her career is driven by a deep commitment to advocating for students with diverse learning needs and ensuring they receive the resources required to thrive academically and socially.

Her rich background is supported by extensive academic preparation in special education and behavioral science. Cassie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Varying Exceptionalities from the University of South Florida in 2005, followed by a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University in 2009. Furthering her specialized expertise, she completed a second Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019.
