Brendan Bonomo

For 25 years, Brendan has dedicated his career to serving the students, families, and employees of Citrus County Schools. He began as a teacher at Forest Ridge Elementary before moving into school administration, serving as Assistant Principal at Forest Ridge and Rock Crusher Elementary. He then became Principal at Citrus Springs Elementary and later served as Director of Human Resources. Today, Brendan proudly serves as the district's Director of Risk Management.

Throughout his 25 years with Citrus County Schools, Brendan has built his career around one guiding principle: serving others and striving to make a difference every day. His diverse experience across teaching, school leadership, and district administration has provided him with a well-rounded understanding of education and the people who make it possible.

Brendan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. His quarter-century of service reflects not only a dedicated career in education, but a lasting commitment to Citrus County Schools and the students, families, and staff he is proud to serve.
