The Citrus County School District is in the process of preparing for the 2026-27 school year and has identified the area where you reside as a high growth area.

If you are receiving this message, you are in an elementary school attendance boundary with a high probability of being updated within the next two years.

Two upcoming information open-house type sessions have been scheduled to provide information in this regard:

Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Crystal River Primary School Media Center from 5:30 – 7:00 pm

Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Forest Ridge Elementary School Media Center from 5:30 – 7:00 pm
