Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Luncheon
The 2023 MOAA JROTC ceremony was held on Thursday, May 11th and two of our outstanding seniors were recognized.
Newly appointed Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Scott Hebert; Director of Secondary Education, Darrick Buettner and Citrus County Education Foundation Executive Director, Shaunda Burdette celebrated the accomplishments of these two seniors alongside their families.
Former Navy JROTC cadet Ann M. Martin received the Evelyn H. Reading Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) JROTC Scholarship worth $5000.
Army JROTC Cadet Lieutenant Colonel (C/LTC) Julian M. Arceo received the Maurice “Bud” Wise Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) JROTC Scholarship worth $2500.
Dr. Hebert also received a certificate of appreciation from MOAA.
Congratulations to both recipients and thank you to MOAA and CCEF for their continued partnership in recognizing our JROTC students and our JROTC programs at all three of our high schools.
