The Citrus County School District has been closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Nicole. After the most recent emergency operations meeting, it has been determined to close schools Thursday, November 10th. This includes all after-school programs and extra-curricular activities today and tomorrow.
Due to this closure, the last two half days before Christmas break, December 21st and December 22nd will now be full days of school.
As a reminder, due to the Veterans Day holiday, we are closed Friday, November 11th.
We encourage you to stay up to date with local news reports; we will continue to update you as necessary.
