Free Meals Continue Into New School Year

Once again, Superintendent Himmel requested and received approval from
the Florida Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Services Office
to allow public school students free meals through the end of the 2021-22
school year.
Students will be eligible to receive free school breakfast and free school
lunch. This does not include Ala Carte items.
In addition, students/parents will be allowed to pick-up weekend snacks
ONLY on Fridays, from 12:15-1:15 pm, at the following schools:
➢ Pleasant Grove Elementary
➢ Floral City Elementary
➢ Forest Ridge Elementary
➢ Citrus Springs Elementary
➢ Crystal River High School
➢ Lecanto High School
➢ Homosassa Elementary
➢ Rock Crusher Elementary

We are also excited to offer our Citrus eSchool students free school
breakfast and free school lunch for the 2021-2022 school year.
Curbside
pickup of the 5-day meals will be available for pickup on Mondays ONLY
from 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm at Citrus High School in Inverness.
In order for Citrus eSchool Students to receive their 5 days-worth of free
school meals, parents MUST insure the following:
➢ Students 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 be enrolled in Citrus eSchool.
➢ Parents 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 have, or setup, a google account to pre-order meals.
➢ Meal pickups are by pre-order 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘, pre-orders 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐓 be placed 𝐧𝐨
𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧.
➢ Meal pre-order pickups are at Citrus High School, on Monday's, from
4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
➢ One pre-order submission per student, the form at the end will ask if
you need to submit additional pre-orders.
