While students enjoyed a well-deserved day off on Monday, District administrators, FCE staff, and school board members had the exciting opportunity to tour the nearly completed addition to our campus. This highly anticipated expansion has been in the works for years, and now, with a $7.1 million investment, the vision is becoming a reality.
A special thank you to Chuck Dixon, Director of Planning and Growth, Scorpio Construction for their dedicated oversight, and our incredible Facilities team for their hard work in bringing this 12-classroom wing to life. We also want to extend our gratitude to Scorpio Construction for sponsoring the event and providing a delicious lunch for our staff as they toured the new space.
We anticipate the entire project will be completed by summer, ensuring students and staff can step into a brand-new learning space when the next school year begins. Once construction is officially finished, we look forward to celebrating this milestone with parents and students at a special unveiling event. Stay tuned for more details!
