Industry Certification Opportunity At the end of Database Programming with SQL, students can earn the opportunity to sit for the Intro to Oracle 9i: SQL certification exam. This is the first part of the Oracle Certified Associate degree, an industry recognized certification. At the end of Database Programming with PL/SQL, students can complete this certification.

Future Careers Information Technology offers some of the highest paying and most challenging jobs in today's market. With this offering, students gain valuable skills that will give them an advantage in pursuing these types of future careers and more: database administration, computer engineering, consulting, technology manager, and project management.

Global Competition In the Database Design and Programming with SQL course the Oracle Academy sponsors a global competition. This annual event provides the opportunity for all students to gain real world experiences in which the winners receive scholarships.
